The Humble Village: a Nonprofit Organization Empowering Women and Transforming Communities
At The Humble Village, we believe that when you educate and empower families—starting with women—you bless all of humanity. We work hand-in-hand with Q’eqchi’ Mayan families living in the highlands of Guatemala, where most survive on less than $1 a day.
Our mission is simple: equip women with the tools to lift their families out of generational poverty. We provide urgently needed nourishment, healthcare training and access, and education that opens the door to long-term stability and independence.
Together, We can Lift Families from Malnourishment and Poverty
Since 2009, we’ve been working towards ending malnourishment and high infant-mortality rates in these highlands of Guatemala. It’s an ambitious goal, and we see the progress every day thanks to the help of our local team on the ground in Guatemala and generous supporters like you.
We work tirelessly to support the Villages there with nutrition and health, and also with an increase of economic development so that they can create skills and sustainable entrepreneurship opportunities to sustain their families.

How We Work
100% of funds donated go directly to these projects and local Guatemalan staff who are on the ground working day to day. The Humble Village takes no overhead or administrative costs, thanks to a generous team who volunteers their time and resources to ensure the donations make the greatest impact possible.
